This is not the kind of help you're looking for

Homes Under the Hammer, Property Ladder and all those other TV shows have a lot to answer for because they've encouraged many people to dive head-first into property investment and join the ever-growing band of self-styled property experts out there. In addition, there are a whole bunch of national house buying companies who will promise the earth to sellers when all they're really interested in is buying your property at a massively discounted prices.

Don't get us wrong, in the event that you do need to sell then dealing with someone who is able to be nimble and move at your speed is important and could mean the difference between a positive and a negative outcome for you. However, at the very least, as a seller, you'd want to know that the people with whom you are dealing are considering your needs and interests first and foremost.
